This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with global data protection standards, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for European users, PIPEDA in Canada, and applicable laws in the United States and Latin America. It outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.
2. Information We Collect
To provide the Court Legends ecosystem, we collect the following types of information:
- Account Data: Name, email address, username and profile photo. You can sign in with an email link, with Google or with a password; passwords are never stored in readable form, only as a secure hash.
- Athletic & Gameplay Data: Match results, Pro Shots analytics, training logs, and skill levels (Dynamic ELO Rating).
- Location Data: The country, province or state and city you select in your profile, used to show your local rankings and to suggest nearby public courts, clubs, and local players. We do not access your device's GPS location.
- Payment Data: We do not store your credit card information. All payments are securely processed by our certified third-party payment gateway (Stripe).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data strictly to:
- Operate and maintain the Court Legends ecosystem, including matchmaking and ELO rating adjustments.
- Show your player profile (username, photo, city, sports, ratings and confirmed results) to other signed-in players in rankings, Pro Cards, tournaments and the social feed.
- Enable secure user-to-user communication via our integrated chat feature.
- Send notifications regarding your account, matches, and platform updates (you may opt-out of promotional emails at any time).
- Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve platform functionality.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We will never sell your personal data. We only share necessary information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our platform, including:
- Supabase: Secure database hosting and authentication.
- Stripe: Secure payment processing.
- Resend: Transactional email delivery.
- Railway: Cloud hosting infrastructure.
- Google: Optional sign-in with your Google account.
All our partners are bound by strict data processing agreements and security standards.
5. Your Privacy Rights
In accordance with international privacy laws, you have the right to:
- Access & Export: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify: Update or correct inaccurate information directly within your profile settings.
- Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Delete your account and associated personal data from our active servers at any time by writing to us at connect@legendium.network.
6. Children and Minors
Court Legends is not directed at children under 13, in line with COPPA in the United States and PIPEDA in Canada. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
- Age confirmation: When you sign up, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and, if you are under 18, that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- Parents and guardians: A parent or guardian of a user under 18 may ask us for a copy of the minor's data, its correction or the deletion of the account by writing to connect@legendium.network.
- Clubs and coaches: When a minor joins a club, team or academy, its administrators and designated coaches can see the minor's ProCard to follow their progress. The membership can be removed at any time by the entity or at the request of the parent or guardian.
- Children under 13: If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account, we will delete the account and its personal data. If you believe this has happened, please contact us at connect@legendium.network.
7. Data Security and Retention
We implement robust technical and organizational measures (including SSL/TLS encryption) to protect your data against unauthorized access. We retain your information only as long as your account is active. If you choose to delete your account, your data will be permanently erased or irreversibly anonymized.
We only use essential cookies, to keep you signed in and to remember simple preferences such as a notice you closed. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
