1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the Court Legends platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the application.
2. Pioneer Beta Phase
Court Legends is currently operating in a “Pioneer Beta” phase. During this period, certain Premium features may be provided free of charge for promotional and testing purposes. We reserve the right to modify features, reset statistics in the event of technical anomalies, and adjust the internal economy and subscription models prior to the official commercial launch.
3. Accounts and Fair Play
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Age Restriction: You must be at least 13 years old to register an account and use Court Legends. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. Children under 13 are not permitted to create profiles or use platform communications.
- Sportsmanship Integrity: The Court Legends ELO Ranking system relies on community honesty. Registering fake matches, manipulating statistics, or creating multiple accounts to alter ratings is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent account suspension.
- Community Conduct: Harassment, hate speech, threats, or abusive behavior toward other players, clubs, or administrators in the app's chat or social feed will not be tolerated.
4. Virtual Economy (Legendium Coins) and Payments
- Legendium Coins (LC): Legendium Coins are a virtual internal currency used exclusively to interact within the platform (e.g., register activities, refuel partners, social feed rewards). They have no real-world monetary value, do not accrue interest, and cannot be cashed out or exchanged for fiat currency outside the application.
- Subscriptions: Premium and Club subscriptions can be canceled at any time. Cancellation stops future billing, but no refunds will be issued for partially used months. All fiat transactions are handled securely via Stripe.
5. Waiver of Liability (Physical Risk Disclaimer)
Court Legends is exclusively a software platform designed to connect racket sport players. We do not organize, supervise, or guarantee the safety of physical matches or venues.
- By using the app to arrange physical meetings or matches, you assume all personal and physical risks associated with athletic activity and interacting with third parties.
- Legendium Sports Hub and its founders are not liable for any physical injuries, property theft, disputes, or accidents that occur at any public court, private club, or recreation center suggested or linked within the application.
6. Intellectual Property
All design, code, logos, and algorithms associated with Court Legends and the Legendium ecosystem are our exclusive intellectual property. Users retain ownership of the content they post (e.g., photos on the Social feed) but grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the platform.
7. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. By using the app, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in British Columbia for any disputes.
